About Us:
As a volunteer-driven organization, marketing is a critical tool for sharing our mission, celebrating history, and connecting with the community. The Denver Police Museum(DPM) is dedicated to preserving the history and legacy of the Denver Police Department while fostering community engagement through educational programs, exhibits, and events.

Role Overview:
The DPM Campaign Manager role is to help create, track and audit DPM campaigns and enhance our communication presence. This is a wonderful opportunity to contribute to preserving Denver’s rich law enforcement history while gaining hands-on experience

Campaigns are built to be delivered across all of DPMs communication channels; e-news, website, social media, flyers, annual report, newsletters, events.. They ensure that all content is relevant, linked from social platforms to DPM web pages and content contains refreshed data.

The DPM Campaign Manager works as a member of the marketing committee. They work closely with other marketing committee members to develop campaigns that align with DPM’s brand image events and activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Campaign identified: Identify if long term campaign is needed and what components
  • Social Media: As new content is available create post ensure consistent with website, e-news and other communication vehicles
  • Web Pages and Updates: In partnership with the Museum’s contracted website development team, make updates to the WordPress website, such as editing pages, posting new content, and updating plugins.
  • Content Creation (Optional): Write blog posts, create website copy, or develop other written content to engage visitors.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Familiar with social media platforms and lead the team
  • Familiarity with marketing concepts
  • Interest in learning about website maintenance, content creation, and design
  • Creativity and a good eye for detail
  • A positive attitude and willingness to collaborate
