Denver Police Museum Invites Community Input

As an independent nonprofit organization, the Denver Police Museum is seeking input from the community about law enforcement in Denver broadly, solutions to improving community relations, and what role the Museum could play to improve trust and understanding between law enforcement and our community.

‘Work hard and do the work’: Retired division chief honored by Denver Police Museum

In recent years, the Denver Police Department has been vocal about its efforts to recruit and retain officers from diverse backgrounds. Before those efforts many years ago, there were a select few who joined the ranks when most of their counterparts didn’t look like them. Charles “CT” Smith is one of those trailblazers. This week, his accomplishments were recognized by the Denver Police Museum, Denver Black Police Officers Association, and the Denver Police Department.
